1. Controller

2. Data we collect

• Contact and demo requests: the name, work email, company, role and message you submit through our forms.
• Technical data: server and CDN logs such as IP address and browser user agent, processed for security, abuse prevention and reliability.

We do not run advertising or third party analytics, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Responding to your enquiry and arranging a demo: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) and your consent given when submitting the form, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
• Operating the website securely and preventing abuse or spam: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a secure service).

4. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, tracking pixels or any non essential tracking technologies. Because we set no such technologies, no cookie consent banner is required.

5. Processors and hosting

We host the website and process form submissions on Amazon Web Services (AWS), in the AWS Europe (Frankfurt) region. Specifically we use Amazon S3, Amazon CloudFront, AWS Lambda and Amazon DynamoDB for hosting and storage, and Amazon SES to send us the notification email for your request. Your data is stored in the European Union. A data processing agreement with AWS is in place. CloudFront is a global content delivery network, so static page content may be served from edge locations outside the EU. AWS Standard Contractual Clauses cover any such transfer.

6. Retention

We keep contact and demo submissions for up to 24 months after our last interaction, then delete them, unless a longer period is required by law. Technical logs are kept only for a short period for security purposes.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise these rights, contact contact@eigennetworks.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Ansbach.

8. Data Protection Officer

We are not legally required to appoint a Data Protection Officer. For any data protection question, please contact contact@eigennetworks.com.
