A tier one European bank automates knowledge work with zero data egress
A major European bank deployed EigenNet on premise to put decades of internal policy and research to work, without a single byte leaving its perimeter.

The challenge
The bank sat on an enormous body of internal knowledge: credit policies, regulatory filings, risk memos and research going back years. Analysts spent hours hunting through it by hand. Public AI tools were off the table, because feeding confidential client and risk data into an external API was a regulatory and reputational non starter.
Leadership wanted the productivity of modern AI without ever exposing the underlying data.
The solution
Eigen Networks deployed EigenNet entirely inside the bank's own data center. We built a localized knowledge base from its document stores and connected systems, then trained an agentic network of Small Language Models to retrieve, reason over and summarize internal material on demand.
- Hierarchical Task Networks break analyst questions into structured, auditable steps.
- Right sized models handle each task, keeping inference fast and economical.
- Sensitive decisions are escalated to humans, with a full audit trail.
The outcome
Analysts now get grounded answers from the bank's own knowledge in seconds rather than hours. Turnaround on routine research dropped roughly fourfold, and every interaction stayed inside the bank's perimeter, fully aligned with its data residency obligations.
“For the first time we can use AI on our most sensitive material without it ever leaving the building.”
